Please join us for the opening reception of a solo exhibition ME VOY PA´L PUEBLO by Paola Villaseñor «PANCA», this October 11th, 2025.
PANCA will be showing a whole new body of work of more than 15 paintings and a mural. With this exhibition, PANCA reflects on the binational and transborder experience amid the political turmoil and violent immigration policies. Me voy pa´l pueblo is the dream of escaping the current USA administration and, a look into Paola´s experience of moving back to Mexico after living in the USA for 3 years. ME VOY PA’L PUEBLO is a homage to the immigrant community who just like Paola´s parents, moved to the USA when she was a child, in search of a better life.

PANCA presentará una nueva serie de más de 15 pinturas y un mural. Con esta exposición, PANCA reflexiona sobre la experiencia binacional y transfronteriza en medio de la agitación política y las violentas políticas de inmigración. Me voy pa’l pueblo es el sueño de escapar de la actual administración estadounidense y una mirada a la experiencia de Paola al regresar a México después de vivir en Estados Unidos durante tres años. ME VOY PA’L PUEBLO es un homenaje a la comunidad inmigrante que, al igual que los padres de Paola, se mudó a Estados Unidos cuando ella era niña, en busca de una vida mejor.
