Fronteras Recicladas – UCSD + Casa Familiar Community Workshop

Casa Familiar is collaborating with UCSD’s Center on Global Justice to hold their upcoming workshop «Fronteras Recicladas» which will have a series of workshops from May 1, 8, 15, 29, & a final performance on June 1.

The workshop is centered on exploring the use of technology, objects, and sounds to create a art installation centered on music. The workshop + performance will be immersive and involve community residents to work with professional music composers to form the entire project.

The music and dance program is imparted by international musicians and dancers, Wilfrido Terrazas, Camilo Zamudio, Lux Boreal and residents / youth of South bay.

The workshops will be held at El Salon Theater.

Final Event

Saturday, June 1 from 2-4pm


The workshops are free to enter, and free food will be provided.
